Jon Heddou is a Junior Associate supporting FIIG’s Sydney Private Client team. Jon provides high-quality client service and operational support across all aspects of fixed income portfolios, working closely with Directors to assist with client enquiries, relationship management, and the preparation of investment materials. Jon also acts as a first point of contact for new client engagement and onboarding, supporting efficient execution and strong client outcomes.

Prior to joining FIIG, Jon worked at Westpac Group as a Customer Service Advisor, gaining experience in a fast‑paced banking environment. Earlier roles in retail sales contributed to Jon’s client‑focused approach and problem‑solving capabilities. Jon’s interest in financial markets - particularly fixed income - was shaped early by exposure to global markets through time spent living in Singapore and Japan, as well as growing up around treasury and bond markets, which laid the foundation for his interest in fixed income.

Jon holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University, majoring in Management, and graduated in 2024. Jon brings a disciplined, detail‑oriented approach to the role, with strengths in client service, productivity support, and financial markets knowledge.

Outside of work, Jon has a background as a ski and snowboard instructor in Australia and Japan and enjoys travel, technology, camping, and four‑wheel driving. Previously working in hands‑on mechanical roles, Jon values practical problem‑solving and precision - qualities that underpin both professional and personal pursuits.
